Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are polyunsaturated fats of marine origin, naturally present in oily fish.
From a biochemical point of view, omega-3 fatty acids are studied for their role as precursors of various lipid mediators involved in cellular signalling pathways related to the body’s normal inflammatory response.

The vitamin D3 in OmegaD3 is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in physiological functions and contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal muscle function (Regulation (EU) 432/2012).

The vitamin E in OmegaD3 is a fat-soluble vitamin with an antioxidant role. In omega-3 formulas it is commonly used to support oil stability due to its sensitivity to oxidation.
